How do I register the iTuner ActiveX (iTuner.ocx) for remote programming control?

Symptoms / Solutions:
The ActiveX control iTunerX.ocx is the solution of choice in any programming platform that supports ActiveX controls (MSVC++, Agilent VEE, LabView, LabWindows, or other). The iTunerX.ocx need to be registered.
– You can use Drivers Registration Utility (UnregDrivers32.exe) to register the iTuner Active X on a 32bit or 64bit operating system. UnregDrivers32.exe is located in “C:\Program Files (x86)\Focus Microwaves\Load Pull Explorer\iTools” directory.
In Drivers Registration Utility, click on “Register dll files….” and load “iTunerX.ocx”.
You can find “iTunerX.ocx” in C:\Program Files (x86)\Focus Microwaves\Load Pull Explorer\iTools directory.
If the iTunerX.ocx is registered correctly you will have:
Older versions of FDCS may not have the Driver Registration Utility. You still can register iTunerX.ocx by following those steps:
– Open MS-DOS prompt or windows command line:
In Windows 10, Vista and 7:
- Click Start.
- Type cmd and press Enter.
In Windows 8:
- Get to the Start screen
- Type cmd and press Enter.
– Type the command regsvr32 followed by the full path of ocx into the Command Prompt and press “Enter”
If the iTunerX.ocx is registered correctly you will have:
For 64 bit operating system “iTunerX.dll” must be used instead of “iTunerX.ocx“.
You can find “iTunerX.dll” in C:\Program Files (x86)\Focus Microwaves\Load Pull Explorer\iTools\iTunerX_rebuild\x64 directory.
