Symptoms / Solutions:

When running FDCS software under a User Account that was not used to initially install the FDCS software, the FDCS installer is launched automatically and reinstalls the application. The process of installation seems to run indefinitely. An error message “Failed to open database. Ensure database files are correctly installed.” might appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

To resolve the issue when the process of installation is running, close the Command Prompt window (Window saying “Unregistering all drivers, please wait…”). Wait to the end of installation and FDCS should open. Close FDCS software and open it again. The FDCS software should start without any issues.
