We are very excited to announce that we are attending European Microwave Week for the 2019 Edition. The conference will be held September 29 through October 4th, 2019, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles – 1 Place de la Porte de Versailles 75015 Paris

The 2019 EUMW Conference gathers academia, industry as well as government and defence engineers to network with colleagues and develop professionally—a rare opportunity  for most of us in this day and age with incredibly hectic schedules. DELTA Tuners

Focus Microwaves’ new DELTA series of passive tuners is designed specifically for high frequency on wafer measurements. The tuner’s low profile allows it to be placed within the wafer perimeter and allows for a direct connection between the probe tip and the tuner, eliminating all possible insertion loss between the DUT and the tuner. This revolutionary new tuner design enables the engineer to achieve optimum tuning range, with a tuner whose footprint and weight has been dramatically reduced.  Models cover from 20-110GHz in both fundamental and harmonic configurations

OMEGA Tuners

Focus Microwaves’ new omega series of electro-mechanical tuners are designed for 5G test applications in mind. It’s small footprint makes it ideal for on wafer testing. Its reduced weight and size not only allows to get the tuner closer to the device but makes its easy to integrate with off the shelf positioners. The user can now connect the tuner directly to the RF probe and get optimum tuning range.

New 50GHz and 67GHz - High Power Bias Tee's

Auriga’s Pulsed Bias Tees balance impressive RF performance with heavy-duty power handling across multiple frequency bands.  Focus is now introducing new 50 and 67GHz models for wideband noise and high power pulse applications.  Leveraging decades of design work on high power bias-tees these new bias-tees offer great power handling for applications like 5G which also requires broad frequency coverage and very good baseband termination to allow for wideband signals operating at >20GHz.

New Low Loss Bi-Directional Couplers

Driven by the work we have been doing for 5G our need for high power low loss bi-directional couplers was increasing and it was obvious we could not rely on commercially available couplers for mmWave on wafer load pull.  We therefore development a family of new low loss bi-directional couplers covering 40, 67 and 110GHz.  These bi-directional couplers are not only low loss but have high directivity which is a must for Load Pull like application where the VSWR values seen by the couplers will significantly affect the performance of the coupler making the measurements invalid. At EUMW we are introducing for the first time the following models: BC-40, BC-67 and BC-110.
