In a noise parameter extraction system, achieving a wide tuning range is crucial for accurate noise figure measurements at the optimum impedance (gamma). Direct probe connections are essential to minimize losses and maintain a robust impedance constellation at entire W-Band frequencies (75-110 GHz). The system includes a dedicated down converter receiver and input/output noise modules, which translate high-frequency signals to a lower, manageable range for the Noise Figure analyzer. This setup ensures precise noise parameter extraction critical for high-frequency applications.
